Architect sought

Cinderford Town Council’s Belle Vue Centre committee wishes to receive proposals from prospective architects. Cinderford Town Council successfully acquired the old HSBC Bank building in Cinderford in December and are now looking for ways to develop their plans for a community hub at the heart of the town.

A recent meeting of the Belle Vue Centre committee decided that the best way forward would be to appoint an architect to conduct a feasibility study of the building to guide the council on how to make the best use of the available space and what the options would be for incorporating a Changing Places toilet, pop-up shops and a micro-museum.

Interested architects should send a proposal for a feasibility study along with guideline costs to the Chair of Cinderford Town Council, Cllr Chris Witham. Proposals should be received no later than 17:00 on Tuesday 29 June 2018. All proposals received will be considered at a meeting of the Belle Vue Centre committee. The committee will then look to put forward a proposal to the July full council meeting.

Cllr Chris Witham or the Town Clerk, Lynda Thomas can be contacted to answer questions about the project and provide any required details about the building.
