Summary

Cinderford is a former mining town situated in the beautiful Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire with a community of around 9,000 residents.

The Council is very pro-active and has ambitious plans for the town. In addition to owning and operating The Belle Cue Centre (a multi-tenanted business centre) and an old bank in the Town Centre, the Council are currently looking to increase its portfolio with new exciting projects to improve the town centre for business and leisure and to support its citizens.

The Council currently employs a full time Clerk, full time administrator and two full time handymen. Plans are in place to recruit a Facilities and Business Manager along with another administrator.

Due to the retirement of the existing Clerk, the Council is looking to employ a Clerk to help the Council move forward with these exciting plans.
