Road Closure – Somerset Road

We have received notification from Gloucestershire County Council about a temporary road closure on Somerset Road in Cinderford.

Gloucestershire County Council have made an order to temporarily close under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of 45158 Somerset Road from the junction with College Road to the junction with Barley Corn Square, a total distance of approximately 60 meters.

The reason for the closure is to repair a leaking short communication pipe within the verge.

The road is expected to be closed on 24 July 2017 until 26 July 2017 or until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact 08000 514 514 or visit www.gloucestershire.gov.uk.

Alternative route

Via 40147 College Road, 3/36 Station Street, 45158 Barley Corn Square and as signed on site.

Pedestrian access to premises on or next to the road and emergency access will be maintained.
