New Christmas lights arrive in Cinderford

The new Christmas lights from Gloucester City Council have arrived in Cinderford.

Town Council workmen, Councillors and staff fromĀ Partington Engineering unloaded the lights in to the Council Chamber. Larger displays would not fit through the doors and will be stored elsewhere in the town until fitting commences in the coming week. Cllr Mark Turner thanked Partington Engineering for supporting the project by providing a lorry free of charge to transport the lights from Gloucester.

Cllr Chris Witham who helped unload some of the lights said “It’s fantastic to see the lights finally arrive in Cinderford. Seeing the size, quantity and quality of the lights really helps you imagine how good the town could look this year.”
