The March meeting of Cinderford Town Council will be held at The Council Chamber, Cinderford, on Tuesday 13th March 2018, commencing at 7 p.m. The business will be as listed below.

  1. To elect a new Chairman.
  2. To receive apologies for absence.
  3. Declarations of Interest – to receive any declarations of interest in any matter to be discussed at the meeting. Members and Officers are requested to identify the nature of the interest.
  4. Public Participation Session – To provide the opportunity for Members of the Public to raise any questions or to comment on items on the Agenda. (This session is limited to 15 minutes, with a maximum of 3 minutes per person).
  5. To confirm the Minutes of the Meeting held on Tuesday, 13th February 2018.
  6. Any Urgent Business (at the discretion of the Chairman).
  7. Town Council Vacancies.
  8. GCC – Various Road Closures.
  9. Request for donation – Cobalt Unit for Dementia Futures Fund.
  10. FODDC – Request to consider locking/unlocking Public Conveniences in Heywood Road.
  11. Correspondence.
  12. Members Reports (Reports to be submitted electronically, for attachment to produced Minutes).
  13. Planning Applications (see list attached).
  14. Accounts for Payment.
  15. Cllr Coborn – recognition of an individual’s service to the Town – The Clerk suggests that this item be taken to the exclusion of the Press and Public.
  16. Date of next Meeting – Tuesday 10th April 2018.
  17. Date of Annual Parish Meeting – to be agreed.

  • why should item 15 have press and pulic be excluded.surely not a suggestion from clerk but councillors decision

    • The clerk can make the recommendation but as you say, it is ultimately for the council to decide whether the item will be taken as exempt.

  • Will the St Anthony’s school situation be discussed at this meeting?

    • Previously it has been discussed under correspondence. We may have received further correspondence or there may be a member’s report from the group that said they would discuss the matter further with the school at the last meeting. I will need to confirm this tomorrow with the Clerk.
